The TUBE BASS SERVO is dedicated to bassists who are looking for a characteristic tube sound with high saturation and specific for tube amplifiers sound compression.

 

BASS SERVO is designed to shape the sound of the bass guitar in such a way that we get a friendly sound ready to be embedded in to the band mix. This small device in a specific way replaces many components on stage as well as in studio that lead to achieving the desired sound of the bass guitar. It gives color and enriches the sound so much that you can send it directly to the mixer, bypassing the amplifier and speakers, achieving a sound what you would like to hear after good  mastering processing.

The effect operates in two modes - SERVO and SERVO+BOOST, which are switchable  with footswitches.

 

SERVO mode - clean sound with subtle tube compression and sustain, which makes the sound of instrument very well balanced in the mix and gains additional acoustic values.

 

BOOST mode -  characteristic sound of hard compressed tube amplifiers. This mode allows to achieve a VINTAGE sound with high saturation but retaining the natural character of the bass guitar without interfering with its tone. Using BOOST mode you will get a sound with a characteristic growl and sustain, very flexible and inspiring.

 

In addition, the sound can be modified using the PUNCH switch, which makes the bass guitar more vivid and aggressive in the band mix. The PUNCH switch has two levels that increase the boost of sound expression.


Servo is extremely easy to use. All adjustment is based on one, multi functional knob "SERVO GAIN", complemented by the PUNCH switch and the HEADROOM regulator, which is active when the BOOST option is On.


It is recommended to connect SERVO directly to the guitar as the first stomp-box in the entire chain of applied effects pedals.
